About The Artist 

Welcome to the world of Mustafa Alsunni, a self-taught Sudanese artist whose journey began in 2014. As a child, Mustafa would pause the small TV screen at home to draw beloved cartoon characters, and this passion for drawing has only grown since then.

Initially captivated by anime and cartoon characters, Mustafa soon felt the urge to explore new artistic avenues. Drawn to the intricacies of detailed work, he began focusing on portraits at the end of 2019. Each portrait became a learning experience, a canvas to experiment with new techniques and refine his skills.

Mustafa’s artistic exploration didn’t stop with portraits. He began experimenting with different materials, from ballpoint pens to oil colors, constantly pushing the boundaries of his creativity. This dedication to exploring various mediums has enriched his art, allowing him to express himself in diverse and unique ways.

Throughout his journey, Mustafa has exhibited his work at numerous events in Sudan, including university exhibitions, youth organizational activities, African Youth Day, and more. Collaborating with other artists, he has shared his talent and vision with a broader audience, making a significant impact in the art community.
